Elementals are spirits of nature. There are four types Air, Earth, Fire and Water. As long as the earth has been around, they have existed and have maintained a balance in nature and have kept the earth pure. Once the Fae had come into existence and later the Elves, they took on the task of caring for the land and the elementals stood back and only came forth when properly summoned. The elementals have also learned to take on a humanoid form if by chance they wished to communicate with a humanoid.
My father is an Earth Elemental and my mother is a Wood Elf. My mother was very much in love with all of nature, and spent entire days in the woods taking in the beauty of all that was around her. My father would silently watch her. He began to appear to her in humanoid form and they fell in love. When I was born, my mother went into the wood and raised me alone.
I am an Elf- Elemental. Children of elementals are not full elementals, and are born in humanoid form but may take on their elemental form at will.
Our magic comes not from spell books, or bottled potions, but from within ourselves, and the essence of life that flows through the world.
Every Elf-Elemental is born with control over the element of their parent elemental. I was born an Earth elemental. I have the power to summon and control earth in all of its forms. We live out our daily lives as Elves and take on our elemental form as per our need. We may also use our elemental powers to a certain degree without changing our form.
We are generally peaceful folk, but can be stubborn and unmoving at times. We are very laid back and easy going. We are fearless warriors when there is such need. We have the appearance of an elf, but are able to withstand physical attacks better than any elf, and we are slightly stronger. In our elemental form, we are practically invulnerable to physical attacks because of our constitution. Although we have the same grace as an elf, while in our elemental form, we are much slower moving, but our strength cannot be matched by any other.
Like our Elf kin we love to sing and dance. We are are genuinely aloof, but those who can get us to open up and let our hair down know they have found a friend.
