The house at the end of this video that is being rebuilt is my parents' home that me, my husband, my children, and my parents stayed in during Hurricane Katrina. We were forced to go in the attic. We all had bread and bananas for lunch that day. My dad and husband were forced to go in the water to retrieve important things. A week after the storm we were all so sunburned. We have recovered somewhat and thanks to Camp Second Helpin' and the people who ran it...Ron and Spring...we had food and water and even entertainment. They have pulled us through a very rough time and were there for us when it really mattered...thank you so much for all the contributions you have given us. We have many memories, laughs, crying, and rejoicing. God bless you and your family for coming to our aid when we needed it most.
