Le Le the Giant Panda

Le Le was a giant panda who lived at the Memphis Zoo for 20 years,
arriving in 2003 as part of a loan agreement with China.

He was born on July 18, 1998, and his name, which translates to
"happy happy," reflected his laid-back and playful personality.

Le Le's sad and unexpected death was on February 1, 2023.

Although Le Le had heart disease,
he tragically died due to neglect and improper care
at Memphis Zoo shortly before his return to China.
